4MBIENCE Brainwaves is a pack of 8 instruments (Kontakt 6.7 full and above) inspired by research into neural oscillations.

Brainwaves have been the subject of numerous studies since the 19th century, and even today they retain a somewhat esoteric aspect. 4MBIENCE Brainwaves is a journey into the waves that shake our grey matter.

New textures, inspired by brainwave studies and neurology, complete this experiment in sound. Still recreated and transformed using modular synthesis elements, Brainwaves 2 sounds are more oriented towards microsequences and instability, offering sometimes unpredictable variations.

4MBIENCE Collection Volume 5 introduces the new 4mbience Engine in version 2.

The ease of use remains, while new functions are added. These include the two new Magic Wand and Dices controls.

In this special edition of the 4MBIENCE Collection, the atmospheres are dark and disturbing.

We wanted to offer atmospheres and textures halfway between the spectacular but very clichéd Braam and the more intimate, dreamlike pads. An ode to robotic melancholy, a sonic essay on the moods of the machines that terrify us.

As usual, this new volume contains 8 instruments, but we've decided to add a ninth to give you even more possibilities.

4MBIENCE Colours introduces eight new instruments to the series. Featuring the 4mbience Engine Version 2, these new instruments also offer three new pre-calculated complex-filtering resonators, specifically designed for them.

The textures used as raw material in these instruments come from a combination of algorithmic generation and processing in a modular synthesiser. These original samples are used to produce rich, complex sonorities in the 4MBIENCE resynthesis engine.

The controls are easy to access, and the 4 available architectures for each instrument make it easy to achieve results.

In this series, we offer new sounds that oscillate between strange, atonal noises and a few tonal notes. Each instrument in the series was designed entirely using modular hardware synthesizers. Every sample used was recorded on old and damaged media: Video8 tapes, ADAT tapes, salvaged audio cassettes, etc.
