Omnisphere 2 mysterious leads, haunting basses, lush and evolving analog pads, neo-futuristic and dystopian soundscapes and raw and tribal arpeggiated sounds.
Inspired by the famous book by David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas for Omnisphere 2 provides you the sounds to start a journey filled with mysterious leads, haunting basses, lush and evolving analog pads, neo-futuristic and dystopian soundscapes and raw and tribal arpeggiated sounds.
This soundset is completely created with new soundsources from original recordings of a variety of synths (ARP Solina SE IV, Roland D50 and super jv-1080 to name a few), from my custom modular setup and as well several custom created soundscapes from different guitar and woodwind recordings mangled in different ways through a variety of amps, effects and modules.
In total there are 225 presets, 50 multis and 120 soundsources and requires Omnisphere 2.4.1d. Download size is 398 mb and uncompressed size is 480 mb.
Omnisphere 2 experimental textures
Journeys is a new soundset for Omnisphere 2 with an experimental character. It contains 128 patches created from the original Omnisphere 2 soundsources and they are divided into 2 categories.
1: Textures Playable – patches using the standard tuning system and with a sort of tonal foundation
2: Textures Soundscapes – patches using the many different tuning systems available in Omnisphere 2 that create experimental, rich, strange, mysterious and ominous soundscapes that leaves the feeling of tonality behind us.
Journeys is a soundset with a rich sound world featuring dystopian sounds, mystique surrealistic ambiences, cold harsh horror sounds and rich evolving futuristic and science-fiction like sounds. It draws its inspiration from Dante’s Inferno from the Divine Comedy (the patches The First Ring till the Ninth Ring are directly inspired from this), till the book the Stand from Stephen King till the old Mad Max movies. Other sources of inspiration are the movies Contact and The Arrival and the great works of William Blake, Edgar Allan Poe and Salvador Dali.

Pagan III – Impacts. An all percussive soundset for Omnisphere 2 with various types of impacts, ARP’s, transitions, wooshbangs, fx and reverses.
The soundset contains 125 new patches and 76 soundsources created from original content that was recorded over the years for my own projects and some of that material is now used for Pagan III
Pagan III – Impacts has been created for use in trailer, game and film productions and is leaning slightly towards the dark kind of sound design style that is heard a lot in recent trailer, game and movie productions.
Time is a soundset for Omnisphere 2
Time is a soundset for Omnisphere 2. It is a soundset with a slightly dark and cinematic feeling and is aimed for composers working for film, game, trailer or library music productions.
Time contains 125 sounds, 25 multis and 39 soundsources. The sounds are divided as following:
25 ARPs, 8 Bass, 3 Bells, 5 Distorted, 7 Drones, 5 Guitars, 5 Hybrids, 5 Keys, 6 Leads, 16 Pads, 8 Percussion, 21 Soundscapes and 12 Transitions.
Omnisphere 2 Collection
Empty Fields - F.2 for Omnisphere 2 started as a per month release with 10 scheduled releases from February 2018 till February 2019. The soundset is now completed with 520 presets, 100 multis and 360 soundsources
With this ongoing project I wanted to capture the ever changing beauty of these Empty Fields and let myself inspire to create and record on a monthly base new material.
In September I updated the set completely for the then new released Omnisphere 2.5
This version requires now Omnisphere 2.5 to be used and is 1.7 GB in size.
During a one year period I let myself be inspired by a beautiful enviroment and recorded sounds and created presets on a monthly base. Before I did not know the outcome and often the changes of weather, the mood of the months resulted in fascinating results. This resulted in a soundset with a lot of character. The sounds go from light and beautiful till dark and mysterious.
The presets in this pack are perfectly suited for underscoring films, games, tv or for ambient music productions. Some presets serve other sounds while a lot of presets can also be the sole foundation of new ideas.
