S.L.A.M. stands for Super Loud Action Metals but it’s much, much more than that! S.L.A.M. is a collection of professional field sound recordings we made in a HUGE scrapyard.

We have invested a full year into developing this pack, picking out only THE BEST samples out of every recording batch. Processing them and preparing them for your convenience. We used metals, glass, plastic, wood and all kinds of machinery to create huge set of samples. All samples are sorted out and presented in 3 ways:

The story behind IScream is short and sweet. Three dudes got together one day over some beers and discussed the thing they love the most: MUSIC! Like every story that starts with beers, this one ended up with us having a great idea to simply go out there, have fun, record some stuff that we like.

Simple as that.

Unlike other beer stories, this one sounded like a cool idea even a few days after that night. So we did that. We got our gear and we went out in the dark alleys and just recorded stuff. At first we were making stuff for our own projects. But later, some of our friends got us convinced to share this with the rest of the world. So we did that too, and we truly hope that you will like it!

• Live, organic, professional recordings. We used some awesome gear to capture all sounds in a great way.
• Humans getting scared and their voice recorded, twisted and sampled in all sort of ways.
• Guitars, organs, metals, glass and synth sounds captured in all sorts of wrong ways. Mostly bowed, scratched, beaten, bent and broken.
• Piano recorded, sampled and smashed to pieces.

Melodica is a cross between a harmonica and a keyboard. The piano-style keys open airways to allow the airflow to reach the reeds, an arrangement that not only makes the melodica easy to play, it also allows it to play chords, making it a polyphonic instrument.

This sets the melodica apart from other woodwinds, which are usually monophonic and play just one note at a time. The modern form of the instrument was invented by Hohner in the 1950s, though similar instruments have been known in Italy since the 19th century.
