Independent volume and tune (+/- 1 octave) control for each of the 6 stops gives you total control over the sound, and lets you do things that would not possible on a real harmonium. The performance controls allows you turn off the natural recorded note attack and release triggers, and shape your own sound with the ADSR controls. The dynamics slider gives you total control over the velocity response, all the way from 0 to 100 %.
Built in 1910 in Denmark and sampled in great detail 108 years later by Bunker Samples, this instrument is pure charm and raw character. What sets it apart is the inclusion of all the noises a harmonium makes while playing: the airy hiss of operating the foot pumps, the thumb of the key bed and even the clonky sound of pulling the stops in and out. But this instrument can do so much more than realism – the new Bunker Samples FX Matrix turns this into a virtual sonic playground. Whether you’re a singer songwriter or a film composer looking for something new and authentic, this instrument is guaranteed to inspire you.
Everything in this library was sampled with 3 round robins, including the keybed noises and the sound of pulling the stops in and out, all with independent volume controls. Add in the sound of the foot pump, and it’s like being there, right in front of an old harmonium – above all, it’s a lot of fun to play.
A sonic playground capable of everything from lush pads to pumping distorted bass sounds. Independent pitch and volume LFOs for each stop invites musical experimentation. Add in a smorgasbord of effects, a couple of send delays and reverbs, and you have the makings of a powerful inspiration machine. And it’s all wrapped up in an easy to use GUI.
