In 1976, Pollard introduced the world's first commercially available drum synthesizer, the Syndrum.

It's a rare and coveted 4-channel analog drum synth with rich analog tone and unique functionality. Iconic Instruments proudly introduces a meticulously sampled virtual version of the Syndrum with added effects and expanded functionality.

Iconic Instruments has also spun off a unique chromatic tonal synth based on the samples from the Syndrum, the Syndrum Synth, which comes free with your purchase of the Syndrum.

Instead of the waveforms being tuned and triggered from the 4 channels, all the notes are laid across the keyboard chromatically to form a tonal keyboard instrument.

In addition to the same Waveforms, Velocity and Effects sections found in the drum modules, the Syndrum Synth offers keyboard-specific features.
