Kev’s Drum Kit is programmed to take full advantage of the Layer Mixer on the Main Page (Page 1) of the Triumph Audio Engine, allowing you to quickly customize gain, pan, and tuning for each layer.

All loops in Kev’s Drum Kit ship with matching MIDI files, giving you full drag-and-drop control over every rhythm.
Drop a groove into your DAW, reassign it to any kit, change the feel, swap sounds, or completely rebuild the pattern!
Kev’s Drum Kit started as a deliberately simple idea:
one raw, unprocessed drum kit, recorded in a tight drum room using stereo room mics. A no-nonsense Ludwig rock kit - classic setup with three toms, cymbals, a solid snare, and a big, punchy kick. Honest, tight, and raw.
But simplicity is just the starting point.
From that single Main Kit, the library expanded into over 40 distinct playable kits - ranging from lightly treated and natural to heavily processed, mangled, and characterful. Each kit transforms the same original recordings into entirely new sonic personalities.
Patches and Folders - Kev’s Drum Kit features a curated collection of 163 patches and 38 loop MIDI files. We’ve organized it all into various subfolders to maximize ease and accessibility:

Kev’s Drum Kit Specifics:
Use the MOD Wheel! Use the MOD wheel in a Loop MOD FX patch to go from a less/not affected version of a loop into an effects-laden version! For any non MOD FX patches, use the MOD wheel to control filter cutoff.
Use Velocity Layers! All Drum Kit patches in Kev’s Drum Kit are meticulously multi-sampled, featuring multiple velocity layers and variations per patch for expressive, dynamic performance.
