Volcan is an experimental synth instrument with a dual "oscillator" design, inspired by the Korg Volca FM.
This instrument seamlessly combines futuristic and retro elements to create captivating synth sounds.
Featuring two oscillators, Volcan provides a rich audio experience, leveraging the essence of the Korg Volca FM for a blend of contemporary and nostalgic tones.
It allows users to manipulate audio, offering creative freedom for sound design with possibilities for complex textures and expressive melodies.
The fusion of dual oscillators results in a synthesis of modern and retro vibes, making Volcan an inspiring tool for musicians and producers exploring sonic boundaries.
The “oscillators” have been split into A & B with a dedicated blend control to merge the two together, or play individually.
Each layer has 4 different samples, all being sampled from a Volca fm.
Both “oscillators” have their own ADSR and VCF to shape both layers individually; the amount of VCF can be controlled by the ENV parameter.
The bottom section of the instrument is where you find the master FX and modulation, there is vibrato (Depth can be controlled by Mod Wheel), master lowpass filter, chorus, convolution reverb (with custom made IRs), delay and waveshaping distortion.
There are multiple ways to create unique and interesting sounds per layer and combined, so have fun exploring!

This expansion contains 8 new presets which showcase his sonic palette with pings, swirls, pads and soundscapes that are perfect for cinematic underscore and ambient music projects.
