In the plugin, you will find up to 3 different preamps to choose from and use in any of the 3 channels. Each with their own set of unique parameters and settings.
Modern – This is modeled after the Darkglass Alpha Omega 900.
Vintage – This is modeled in part after the Sans Amp and Darkglass B7K Ultra.
Clean – This is your Bass tone directly from your Bass guitar.
The Cab IR loader in Element Bass is not global. Meaning each channel can have its own Cab IR. Letting you pick the perfect IR for that particular channel.
Element Bass comes with a choice selection of IRs created specifically to give you a wide range of tones and sounds to work with.
But if you would instead like to use your own IRs, you can do that too. That being said, just because you CAN load an IR, doesn’t always mean you need to.
The master output section of Element Bass also includes a limiter at the end of the signal chain. This allows you to further control the bass peaks and dynamics. It also acts like a glue when you have more than 1 bass channel in parallel.
3D is a stereo modulation effect modeled and inspired by mixing legend Andy Wallace. If you have a hard time getting your bass cut through the mix without stepping over everything else. It’s likely this one knob will do the trick.

Since Element Bass lets you run up to three fully independent channels, having a dedicated parametric EQ in each one allows for a precise, targeted approach that a single shared EQ can’t match.
Control Every Layer: Each channel might be handling a different part of your bass tone—one might be your sub-lows, another your midrange grit, and another your top-end definition. With separate EQs, you can hone in on each channel’s sweet spots and carve out exactly the frequencies you need, without compromising the others.
