PPG Wave 3.0

The Waldorf PPG Wave V.3 is the next evolution of the legendary PPG Wave Synthesizer, one of the most respected high-end synthesizers of the 80s. By recreating the signature combination of digital waveshapes and analog filters in a full software synthesizer, Waldorf offers endless sonic possibilities without any of the harsh artefacts produced by the PPG Wave 2.

With a huge range of waveshapes on offer, and the ability to smoothly morph through waveshapes, the sonic capabilities of PPG Wave V.3 are massive. Capable of delivering up to 256 voices of polyphony, each voice offers two wavetable oscillators and optional sample playback. Shape this sound with a precision 12 or 24-dB lowpass filter, optional overdrive, LFO, and three envelope generators.

Thanks to a multimode with eight stereo outputs, as well as poly, dual, quad and mono unison performance modes, the PPG Wave V.3 is perfect for both the studio and the stage. Push performance further with a unique arpeggiator and several effects including a 4-band EQ, overdrive, phaser, chorus, flanger, stereo delay, and reverb.
