Monster synth with a massive sonic palette.
The wavetable oscillators move and breathe, by sweeping through a collection of single-cycle grains. Sweep from a modulation source, loop between wavetable points, or use a MIDI controller (e.g., footpedal or ribbon).
CODEX follows up digital oscillators with analog subtractive processing—warm multimode analog filter (with 12 dB “obie” or 24 dB “mini” slopes), and VCA with shape and punch controls.
Choose from 12 modulation sources, including aftertouch and the arpeggiator/sequencer, then route them to almost any CODEX parameter. Easily dial in those “wobbly” bass sounds—even modulate the onboard effects.
Of course, the sequencer/arpeggiator can change note pitch—but it can also modulate any other parameter, sync to 13 rhythmic values or run free, add swing, choose 4 arpeggiation modes, do hold, and more.
