Renaissance Vox uses a soft-knee compression curve, so the dynamics “slide” into compression instead of hitting hard. This gives the voice a smooth, luxurious, and above all, consistent sound quality.
Compression, gating, limiting, and level maximization are all controlled automatically in the background to deliver optimum results. Choose the compression amount, banish hiss with the gate, adjust the gain, and go.
Rather than use a brute-force gate to get rid of noise, R-Vox uses gentle downward expansion. Once R-Vox detects there’s no vocal, the output drops smoothly, but is ready to come back up instantly when needed.
Presets by leading producers and engineers such as Greg Wells (Adele), Dave Pensado (Justin Timberlake), Michael Brauer (Coldplay) make it even easier to get started with the right sound.
