Easy drag-and-drop installation with the Deepmind Editor
Requirements: Compatible Mac/PC running the official Behringer DEEPMIND editor software. Available to download from the software section located here.
Open the DEEPMIND editor and connect the DEEPMIND to your computer via USB. Once connected, open the settings page of the editor. Here, select DEEPMIND as both the input and output device. Once set as shown below, press the ‘Resync’ button.
Recommended: Back up your existing sound banks to avoid the risk of losing your work in the event you load new sound banks. This can be done by selecting your chosen existing bank and selecting the ‘duplicate bank’ button within the preset manager page. This will save your chosen bank within the DEEPMIND editor on your computer.
Open the ‘Preset Manager’ tab of the DEEPMIND editor and simply drag and drop the sound bank ‘Ocean DeepMind.syx’ file directly into the Preset Banks area. You will now see the sound bank listed within the Preset Manager
To import the sound bank into the DeepMind, select which bank you wish to import to on the right-hand side and then click the ‘Copy to Right’ button. Please ensure your DeepMind remains connected via USB until the import procedure has completed.
Once the import has completed, the new sound bank has been installed.
