Serum Prime

Serum Prime is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for Xfer Records' Serum 2 synthesizer. It includes only exclusive sound samples which have been designed specifically for this soundset. It only uses these new samples and does not recycle the stock ones in Serum.

For this soundset, my first for Serum 2, I created a collection of sample-based patches that is great for scoring dark tension, action, and horror, while adding a slight sci-fi tinge. Prime takes advantage of the new features in Serum 2 to deliver patches that sound truly organic, full of character and random imperfections.

Serum Prime makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, it may completely change the patch into something totally different, so I encourage you to have fun with it.
