1980 Bundle

1980 Vol.1 for Arturia CS-80 V4 and Analog Lab V synths contains 30 presets derived from the classic 80's sound era. This soundbank has 10 Classic Synths, 10 Classic Pads, 5 Vintage Leads and 5 Vintage Basses.

All macros are assigned to Ring Modulation, Reverb, OSC Mix and Low Pass Filter Cut-Off frequency.

1980 Vol.2 for Arturia CS-80 V4 and Analog Lab V synths contains 30 presets derived from the classic 80's sound era and carrying this distinct CS-80 sound identity. This soundbank has 30 Classic Pads that could also be used as polysynths in terms of performance.

In some presets the envelopes that modulate the filters could introduce some interesting, nice flaws and additional notes could be heard when releasing the keys. If you would like to avoid this, then turn the filter release slider (the first yellow sliders with the R sign below them for each different channel) or even turn down all sliders that adjust the filters envelopes (the sliders with IL, AL, A, D and R signs below them).

Chorus and Tremolo in the lower part of the synth play an important role for most presets and give an additional vintage 80’s touch to the sounds.

All macros are assigned to Ring Modulation, Reverb, OSC Mix and Low Pass Filter Cut-Off frequency. Using aftertouch is pretty much unpredictable and could affect elements like filter and OSC pitch modulation in conjunction with the Sub OSC of the synth.

Try to add some unexpected yet very musical and interesting alteration to the sound using aftertouch or mod wheel. Some presets are set with unison and thus according to the unison engine of CS-80, when performing multiple notes, some of them will not be heard. To avoid it please disable unison from the bottom left part next to the yellow release slider. Also try to add some timbral changes using the green BRILL and the red RES sliders.

1980 Vol.4 for Arturia CS-80 V4 and Analog Lab V synths contains 20 arp presets derived from the classic 80's sound era and carrying this distinct CS-80 sound identity. This soundbank has 20 Classic Synth Arps mainly adjusted in sixteenths notes speed.

Adjusting the GATE slider will adjust the length of the arpeggiated notes. Disable the arp by pushing the ON/OFF button on the ARPEGGIATOR section and transform the presets into classic 80’s poly synths.
