Here comes the first release of our new series of carefully sampled and processed one shot sample packs. Here you have 504 kickdrum samples. All cut and tuned very carefully for an exciting beat making experience. The samples are key labelled and sorted in folders by notes. We have recorded nine different machines. For example an old Roland R8M Rack Module with a lot of different cards. The drums from a Yamaha TX81Z, a very old Yamaha Electone Organ or from the PSR Keyboard series and three classic Casio SA Toypianos. We also used a Novation Super Drumstation and a Roland Super JV 1080 with different cards. The recorded audio files were named randomly and we ran all the samples through different hardware chains and totally different software effect chains. The software based results we then run through the analog chain again and vice versa. We end up with a lot of different feeling and sounding kickdrums. From there we go through this randomly named mess of kicks and bass drums to finally select the best ones by carefully listening. We made a selection which is big enough to give the user total flexibility in moods and styles and handy enough to make finding the right kick very fast. We tried to put all the needed and relevant variations into that pack. You got very short kicks with heavy transients for the attack and the real „kick“. There are really phat ones with lots of sustain and release. Dry and sharp ones and very smooth and laidback sounding kicks. We want to give you a wide range of bass drums for as many different music genres as possible. All kicks sounding phat and solid. You have all possible styles of electronic kick drums without overprocessing or FXed stuff. Just simple, clean, tuned and carefully selected 504 Super Hi-Fi Kicks for your toolkit.
