Stephan Emig played all the drums in this collection, recorded at the legendary Horus Recording Studios in Rooms A and B.
Room A is renowned for its traditional, warm vintage sound, with a range of surfaces including brick, glass, and wood that create the perfect environment for warm, rich drum tones.
On the other hand, Room B was built specifically for powerful drums, with an open and punchy sound that has contributed to the success of countless records.
The main control room boasts a 48-channel ADT inline console, a Studer A 827 24-track tape deck, and an impressive collection of classic outboard gear from top brands such as Universal Audio, Crane Song, Avalon, Manley, Summit Audio, Lexicon, and Eventide.
To capture the authentic sound of the 80s, only microphones from that era were used. The team put in a lot of effort and meticulous work to ensure that every detail of the sound was reproduced faithfully.
The Structure
Look no further than our expertly recorded and meticulously crafted drum loops, designed to give your music that professional edge. Our loops were recorded using top-of-the-line studio equipment and optimized for 24-bit/44.1 kHz sound quality, ensuring that every hit is crisp and clear.
Each BPM folder is loaded with a variety of grooves and fills, including a mixed stereo drum loop, premixed groups, and all the individual tracks in a dry version. That means you get full control over every aspect of the drum sound, including the kick in/out, snare bottom/top, hi-hats, toms, ride, crash, overheads, and room microphones. And we've already done the hard work for you by premixing everything with perfect EQ and light compression, so you can focus on making music instead of tweaking settings.
Whether you're looking to create a complete song or just add some flavor to your existing tracks, our loops are the perfect solution. You can easily mix and match different loops from a single performance or combine loops from different performances to create your own unique sound.
