Calc-U-Synth is an authentic, sample-based emulation of the Casio VL-Tone (Also known as the VL-1 or the Realistic Concertmate 200) – a small combination calculator and digital synthesizer from around 1980.
The VL-Tone is a monophonic instrument that has 5 preset sounds as well as a user programmable 6th slot called ADSR. The ADSR slot was programmed by entering 8 digits into the calculator’s memory, then returning to synthesizer mode. Needless to say, this is a rather inconvenient way to program a synthesizer.
Key Features:
HandySynth is an authentic, sample-based emulation of the Yamaha HandySound HS-200 – a small digital synth from 1982. The synth was then circuit bent and sampled again to provide extra textures and noises for your music and sound design needs.
The original HandySound had 5 instrument sounds to choose from, with 3 hidden sounds at certain switch positions. For this library, each instrument was chromatically sampled and analysed to provide authentic recreation. Each instrument was then given a bent counterpart, to give a total of 16 different sound sources.

PortaSynth is an authentic, sample-based emulation of the Yamaha PortaSound PSS-130 – a small digital synth from around 1987. After the initial recording were made, the synth was circuit bent and sampled again to provide extra textures and noises for your music and sound design needs.
The original PSS-130 was a revision of the PSS-30, with the same features, but with larger keys. It had 8 instrument sounds to choose from, and a 4 voice drum synth with 8 preset rhythms.
