A dual stereo delay inspired by tape drift and clock manipulation — part echo, part flanger, part something entirely new.
The delay engine combines a classic varispeed tape delay with a modulated flanger in one unified system. Independent left/right delay times with optional tempo sync, stereo ping-pong routing, and a flutter modulator that introduces tape-like pitch instability. The feedback path includes tone shaping and soft-clipping saturation for analog warmth.
A full 8-band parametric equalizer where every band has its own independent LFO — frequency and gain modulated independently across the spectrum.
HydroSwarm's EQ is a studio-grade 8-band parametric equalizer with a live spectrum analyzer and real-time LFO waveform displays. Each band offers six filter types and includes a dedicated LFO. The LFOs sync directly to the host DAW tempo with 15 synchronization divisions, and can be instantly paused using the LFO Freeze mode to capture complex harmonic snapshots. The redesigned control strip features high-density compact controls and immediate numerical feedback.
Two independent multimode filters — one per stereo channel — each driven by its own LFO, sweeping through five filter modes in real time.
HydroSwarm's filter section runs a true dual-core topology: Filter A processes the left channel, Filter B processes the right. Each filter is a State Variable Filter (SVF) with ADAA saturation, morphing continuously between five modes. Set different rates and waveforms per channel to create evolving stereo motion — or match them for synchronized sweeps.
An 8-line Feedback Delay Network with pitch-shifted shimmer — spaces that evolve beyond the room.
Built on a Valhalla-style FDN-8 (Feedback Delay Network with 8 delay lines and a Hadamard mixing matrix), HydroSwarm's reverb goes beyond traditional room simulation. A CloudSeed-inspired pre-diffuser smears transients before they enter the network. The shimmer engine uses a granular pitch shifter (+12 semitones) fed back into the network, creating endlessly rising harmonic cascades.
