MIDI Song Starters v1.2Boyss-Sound-e-Scapes
UPDATED to v1.2! What's new? 10 more midi kits (Total number of kits is tripled (but not the price).
Each new kit contain more elements inside like rhythmic chords, chord fills plus there are bonus MIDI files so the number of possible combinations is much higher (you can even make several tracks just from 1 pack). There are also more variations.
In the previous version there were 5 midis per kit. In this update there are 33 in average per kit, 337 total vs 25 in initial version (which you also get). Over 350 MIDI files in 15 construction kits total)
New kits: Pack 06 140 bpm Em Pack 07 140 bpm Gbm Pack 08 140 bpm Fm Pack 09 129 bpm Gm Pack 10 115 bpm Ebm Pack 11 110 bpm Am Pack 12 95 bpm Bm Pack 13 120 bpm Dm Pack 14 120 bpm Cm Pack 15 172 bpm Fm Tempo information is removed from MIDI files which means same pack with 80 bpm in the name can be used from ambient to DnB tracks and anything in between, it will always stay same number of bars (project tempo will determine how fast is played). That makes them widely usable.
You can pretty much ignore BPM info from pack name. (Note: this applies to most DAWs, for others like MPC software read documentation for workaround)

With this MIDI pack you can easily make an EP or even more if you are creative, override any kind of creative block, without worrying that you will sound like someone else. For how versatile it is you can check the demo track for free pack where only 1 construction kit is used for all 3 short compositions (without changing MIDI arrangement - just different instruments and drums).
Theme of this pack is emotive and nostalgic compositions.
Contains: 5 powerful MIDI Construction Kits to jumpstart production projects. Each consists of 6 MIDI files: Single track MIDIs (8 bars length): bass (2 variations); melody (2 variations) which are actually chord arpeggios (polyphonic); and Main chord Progression. -multitrack MIDI file, this file contains all other (for compatibility reasons).
All packs are BPM and key-labeled. You have the ultimate freedom to choose your own sounds, change the key, velocity, length, re-arrange the musical phrase exactly as you want it, add your own unique sound and build up your new track. You have as much flexibility as possible. Personalize these phrases and make them unique to your own style.
There is also information provided about chord progressions, as kind of help if you want to record additional instruments (in form: I-VI-IV-V-III-VI-II-V for example)
Because MIDI is very versatile you can chop/rearrange for more variety or even change key just by transposing all notes and they will all stay in key (new one, depends of amount of transposing: F minor to G minor require transposition of +2 semitones for example) There is also info about BPM in which they are recorded and while I can not guaranty they will work fine in other tempos but in daws I tested they always stayed 8 bars if I made project tempo change before importing MIDI.
It's very annoying when you load MIDI in middle of working on a project and it change whole project to different bpm, tempo information is not written into this MIDI files so they behave like they are immune to tempo change.
Tested DAWS: Reaper, Sonar, Energy XT2, MPC Essentials.
MIDI Song Starters is a very useful tool for any producer who wants to add some emotions to their tracks, can be used for any kind of musical projects: Cinematic, Downtempo, Ambient, Chill Out, Hip Hop, Dubstep, R, Electronica and whatever style you are into.
