Kev’s Samples was started with a mission in mind: We seek to provide the most realistic and authentic versions of ethnic & folk instruments, which are often trivialized in sampling. Traditional European orchestral instruments tend to receive the most detailed treatment when it comes to sampling & programming, but there are many instruments, from Europe & abroad, which demand the same amount of detailed programming, yet are often done cheaply in a way that does not do justice to all the subtle musical nuances and potential for virtuosity these instruments can often provide. We wish to put these exotic sounds at your fingertips without losing the soul of the instruments.
