The Breakbeat Builder - Vol 1

This library of drum loops has been studio recorded with a Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz drumset and Zultan RAW Jazz cymbals directly on tape with a JVC CD-s200 tape deck. It has been digitalized into two versions:

• Stereo version for a wide and open sound, full and rich, giving the loops a beautiful stereo image
• Mono version: because you want it old school, don’t you?

There is also a LoFi version of the mono files, re-recorded with a crappy handheld tape cassette recorder, that sounds marvellously LoFi!

The files are in two formats:

• wave 24bit/48KHz
• REX Reason DrRex compatible file format for easy slicing, rearranging, and mangling the single hitsslices for maximum creativity.

There are 13 main loops with several variations each, for a grant total of 428 single files!

Whether you produce Lofi Hip Hop up to jungleD&B this library it’s great for your next hits. You can go with a clean sound and make it dirty and distorted with your own effects, or you can use the loFi versions already in the lib, which are dirty and crunchy to the bone.

The wave files have metadata for easy searchability in your favorite sample manager softwarerowser.
