WHAT IS THROAT?
Throat is a revolutionary plug-in that allows you to process vocals through a crafted physical model of the human vocal tract, so you can design your own vocal sound with endless possibilities. Though originally designed to allow subtle modifications in vocal quality, the range controls allow for vocal tract models that exceed the limits of physical human anatomy, offering vocal characteristics and creative expressions unattainable in the real world.
HOW DOES AUTO-TUNE'S THROAT WORK?
Auto-Tune’s Throat works by graphical throat shaping allowing you to individually adjust the position and width of five points in the vocal tract model, from the vocal cords to the throat, mouth, and lips. This allows for detailed control of the vocal sound and the ability to be as creative as you’d like with the vocal track. The breathiness controls allow you to add variable frequency noise to the model for a wide range of vocal effects. Throat also allows you to pitch shift a voice up or down as much as an octave to create a range of alternative vocal characters.
