Start-up your creativity
Play Button - This button triggers the start-up of the virtual tape machine. It will create a classic pitch up effect and start the playback. Fully retriggerable, no need to stop first!
Stop Button - This button triggers the slow-down and stop of the virtual tape machine. It will create a pitch down effect, known from countless great productions. Fully retriggerable, no need to start first!
Start Time - This knob allows you set the time each start-up or slow-down takes. Depending on the Time Mode setting this can be in milliseconds or note values that sync to your session. Starts and stops up to 9999ms!
Time Mode - This switch allows you to choose between free-running time mode (milliseconds) and synced beat mode for the start and stop time control.
Flux - The Flux slider allows you to mix in pitch warble and errors with the start-up and slow-down effects. At 0% the effect is fully accurate, like a pristine tape machine. At 100% the effect is full of character and analog modelled imperfections. Tweak as you like!
Muffle - The Muffle slider will reduce the brightness of the tape starts and stops. This is an actively changing control, meaning the lower the pitch of the signal becomes the more muffled it gets.
Dust - The Dust slider will add warm noise and fuzz to your tape-starts and -stops. This is an actively changing control, meaning the lower the pitch of the signal becomes the noisier it gets.
Shape - The Shape switch allows you to select between two different shapes for the start-up and slow-down behavior. It can be set to linear or curved becahvior, both modelled from real world devices.
