Erb N Dub talks about wanting to make this sample pack since he first learned how to drum at the age of 14. Now 20 years later he has achieved this by creating the ultimate drum and bass drums sample pack everyone in drum and bass is using.
Drum breaks have been re-mastered in the Audio Animals mastering studio. By doing so brings out all the clarity and fullness of each break. As if these drum breaks weren't already good. Now we take them to a whole new level of power and punch.
In total across the 5 kits we recorded 20 snares, 5 kick drums and over 20 different cymbals. Why did we record so many drum kits? Because each kit has it's own unique tone and texture. Recording each kit in different ways allowed us to create a pack that was unique and versatile throughout.
Over the past years this drum pack has been in circulation among the drum and bass elite. Everyone from Andy C, Calyx & Teebee to Macky Gee and Kill Box. The breaks are highly versatile and can be used in all genres of music, not only drum and bass. Included in the sample pack you will find a loop called Blown which was used in Calyx & Teebee release on Ram Records.
