You no longer need to choose between vintage sound or precision: the V-EQ4 is flexible enough to handle today’s mixes, but with the warmth, sparkle, and rich sound that makes mixes from the 70s hold up even today.
The 20 midrange frequencies with Hi-Q option, high and low shelving with 5 corner frequencies (and optional bell response), and 5 highpass and 5 lowpass filters were deliberately chosen for maximum musicality.
One of the hallmarks of the 70s sound was hearing each instrument clearly in the mix. The V-EQ4’s detailed EQ lets each instrument claim its own part of the frequency spectrum, to deliver dazzling definition.
Enable the Analog button to retain the modeled analog sound, even with EQ bypassed. To mix through a console with analog character, add a V-EQ4 to each channel, and enjoy the sound of analog mixing.
